Free Maintenance Medicines

Free door-to-door delivery of maintenance medicines for diabetes, asthma, and hypertension in collaboration with the Barangay Affairs Office.

To raise awareness and strengthen the camaraderie of persons living with hypertension and diabetes, the City of Taguig led the creation of the Hypertension and Diabetes Club.

Home Health

Offers free consultation, examination, and other health services through visiting the patients' home in need of nursing care services such as:

• Physical assessment before hospital discharge
• Care planning after hospital discharge
• Physical Examination
• Care planning of wounds like pressure sores or surgical wound
• Pain Management
• Disease Management
• Teaching the family how to properly take care of the patient
• Intravenous or nutrition therapy
• Injections
• Proper care of medical contraptions
• Informing and orienting the family about the patient's medicine
• Monitoring of the unstable condition of the patient
• Range of motion exercises
• Customized nursing care planning
• Referral and coordination to other medical assistance needed by the patient
• IV insertion with doctor's order
• Discharged patients who need completion of IV antibiotics
• Blood extraction for bedridden patients
• Some medical supplies that will be used for the patient

Health Summit

The City of Taguig conducts health summits for different sectors of the community to ensure their well-being. The summit offers health lectures and free medical, dental, laboratory, and reproductive health services such as:

• Health risk assessment for Non-Communicable Diseases
• Free chest X-ray
• TB screening
• Dental services (check-up and extraction)
• Cholesterol and random blood sugar testing
• Electrocardiogram (ECG)
• Breast and cervical cancer screening
• HIV/Sexually Transmitted Infections/Hepatitis B screening
• Flu, Pneumonia, and HPV vaccination
• Nutrition lecture

Love Caravan

Through the Medical Assistance Office (MAO), Love Caravan will be making its stop in all 38 barangays in the City.

They offer free medical and dental health services to different barangays every week in the City such as:

• Medical
  • Consultation
  • Dispensation of medicines
  • Hearing aid distributions
  • Pneumonia vaccine - for Senior Citizens, Persons with comorbidity, and Persons With Disabilities
  • Routine Vaccinations for children under 5 years (Hepa B, Penta, OPV, IPV, MMR)

  • X-ray
  • ECG
  • Ultrasound
  • CBC
  • Platelet Count
  • Urinalysis
  • Random Blood Sugar

Free Wheelchairs and Assistive Devices

Through the assistance of Barangay Affairs Office (BAO) and City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), wheelchairs and other assistive devices are delivered house-to-house to registered Senior Citizens and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) with orthopedic needs.

Oplan Linaw

Oplan Linaw is a City-initiated project that provides free eye examination and eye grade checkup apart from the free eyeglasses to Taguigeños with poor eyesight.

The free eye check ups are scheduled in every barangay.

Free Hearing Aids

Free hearing aids can be availed at the Love Caravan.

To avail the free hearing aids, patients must be:

• Taguig resident, aged 60 years old and above
• Medical Certificate stating their hearing loss

Oplan Ngiti

Oplan Nigiti is a City-initiated project that provides free check up, tooth extraction, and medications.

Taguigeños can also avail free dentures through proper assessment and measurement for customization and it will be delivered to them.

Dental services are also available at the Love Caravan.

Free Circumcision

Every year, the City of Taguig offers free circumcision to all Taguigeño boys aged 11 and above in all 38 barangays.

A complete dose of antibiotics and pain relievers are given to those who availed the service.

Free Medical Emergency Response Service (Doctor On Call)

A 24/7 medical service that provides quick medical services to Taguigeños. The DOC team is composed of a team of licensed doctors and registered nurses, and equipped with an ambulance to respond to medical emergencies and other medical needs.

Free Mental Health Consultation

A psychometrician will accommodate calls and assist in setting teleconsultation schedules with a psychiatrist or psychologist. Open 24/7 to all Taguigeños with mental health concerns.

Free Medical Teleconsultation

All Barangay Health Center offers free medical checkup and referral, prescriptions, and laboratory requests every weekday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
