Free Education from Daycare to College

The City of Taguig has numerous daycare centers, public elementary schools, and public high schools in all 38 barangays that Taguigeños can enroll for free.

Upcoming college students can apply for scholarship to sustain their educational needs and supplement their allowance.

Alternative Learning System

Alternative Learning System is a program under the Department of Education that provides opportunities for out-of-school youth and adults who want to complete their education.

The City of Taguig supports and strives to create educational programs that will provide proper education to all Taguigeños.

'Tara Basa' Tutoring Program

'Tara Basa' Tutoring Program is a collaboration project between the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Taguig City Social Welfare and Development Office.

It aims to improve the reading and comprehension skills of Grade 2 learners through tutorial sessions which requires the active involvement of the parents.

Free Uniforms, Shoes, Bags, School Supplies, and more

Every school year, the City of Taguig distributes school packages consisting of:

• Bag
• Uniform
• P.E. Uniform
• Socks
• Black Shoes
• Rubber Shoes
• School Supplies

Additional items are given to daycare and kindergarten pupils such as emergency contact cards and health kits.

Partnership with BCDA and DepEd TaPat

The City Government of Taguig, together with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the Department of Education-Division of Taguig and Pateros (DepEd TaPat), signed a memorandum of agreement to expand access to quality education through the development of a modern learning center.

Under the agreement, the City of Taguig is authorized to use a 1,110 sqm parcel of land from BCDA to construct a multipurpose facility that will support education, technology-driven learning, and community activities.
